Rain, rivers, lakes, streams and oceans are water. We are water. Although water doesn’t provide calories or organic nutrients, it is essential to human survival. I always carry a water bottle with me beacuse I love water, I exercise much and I know the benefits of drinking it. Because water is tasteless, many people don’t want to drink plain water unlsess they are thirsty. Others quench their thirst with sugary drinks, wich is not healthy at all.
That’s why I wanted to share with you the ideia of drinking infused water. Infusing water is adding some natural and subtle flavours to water, as well as natural nutrients and vitamins, by mixing herbs, fruits and vegetables in unique and limitless combinations. Drinking infused water is a more fun way of hydrating yourself, departing from the temptation of drinking sugary drinks, get energy and, therefore, becoming healthier.
While watching Shark Tank on TV a few months ago, I came across the Define Bottle, invented by Carter Kostler, a 15-year-old entrepeneur. The Define Bottle is an eco-friendly water bottle that allows people to drink fruit infused water on the go.
I also found the Aqua Zinger, the one I prefer. This bottle has blades on the bottom cup, wich helps grinding the ingredients and releasing more flavoured juice.
No matter where you are, or what you are doing, you can drink water in the healthiest way.
“Water is the driving force of all nature”

Do you like infused water? What are your favourite recipes? Do you have a bottle like the ones I showed? Let me know in the comment section!
A delicious and pretty way to drink water. I love that bottle design, too. I’ve had lemonade infused with fruit, but not plain water. I will have to try it.

I think so too 🙂 I think lemonade is also great. It goes well with some many fruits and it is always so refreshing! I think you would love to try plain water, infused with lemon and some spearmint.

I recently started adding lemon, mint and cucumber to my water and it make’s a refreshing drink. I’m going to have to check out the bottles you suggested; I carry water everywhere too, but it’s usually just plain. I’ll have to check out your recipes too! 🙂

Those water bottles are super neat!! The only infused water I’ve ever drank is orange, and I’m still not sure what I think about it. Great post!

This is a great idea to avoid drinking sodas, which are everything but healthy. And who said that “healthy” is synonym with “untasty”?

I cannot stand the taste of plain water or water without a bit of sugar. Which fruits could be infused into the water, give me that palatable taste and still be healthy? Can I use any fruit? Where are the recipes?

You can use any fruit you like! You can use oranges, apples, strawberries, peaches… Anything that comes to your mind (or is in your kitchen 😉 ) and gives some taste.

Yes, that’s why I was inquiring about what types work best. I’m gonna try it. Too much sugar is putting on weight on me. Hope I can find that special cup this side.

Karen, let me add that in Nature there is no sich thing as “refined sugar”, which is the harmful type. So when we ingest natural sugars, we are indeed much more in harmony with Nature and therefore healthier, more balanced, in a word, more prone to… hapiness.
